Privacy Policy

The Coffee Code (thecoffeecode.com) is a static website that collects as little as possible.

What we collect

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard access logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for security and debugging. These are retained briefly and not used for profiling.
• Nothing else by us. No accounts, no newsletter database, no comment system, no analytics cookies set by this site. The calculators and quizzes on this site run entirely in your browser; your inputs are never transmitted to us.

Third parties

• Fonts. Pages load the Fraunces typeface from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as a technical necessity of serving the file.
• Embedded videos. Some articles embed YouTube videos; YouTube sets its own cookies when you play one.
• Affiliate networks. If you click an affiliate link (see the affiliate disclosure), the destination merchant and network (such as Awin) may set cookies to attribute the sale. Their privacy policies govern that data.
